Social Learning Session is a virtual space created for Sanctuary Network members to learn, collaborate, and connect.

These 90-minute sessions will capture Sanctuary concepts, tools, and values through discussions, lectures, and exercises on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 1pm-2:30pm. A Sanctuary Faculty will lead the session each month, offering a wealth of knowledge and experience to support individuals and organizations enhance their trauma-informed practices.

Learn How to Boost Your Sanctuary Training Skills

Already a Sanctuary Trainer? Attendees will spend quality time with Sanctuary Faculty to learn how to enhance their Sanctuary training skills through discussions, demonstrations, and sharing effective tips & tools.

Manage Accountability with a Sanctuary Lens

Managing accountability can be difficult and it can be rewarding!  The Sanctuary Model offers tools and values that succor organizations & individuals create a culture where accountability is encouraged and received. In this session, attendees will discuss the mindset around accountability and learn how to effectively use Sanctuary Tools to create a culture of awareness, accountability and courage.

SELF: How to Put it On Everything

SELF is the nonlinear tool in the Sanctuary Toolkit that helps organizations & individuals process complex changes, feelings, and discuss treatment through a trauma-informed lens. Attendees will learn how to use SELF to address non-client related topics.

Facilitate an Effective Red Flag Meeting

Red Flag Meetings are our friends. Learn how to run an effective Red Flag Meeting to ensure your team members leave Red Flags feeling informed, connected, heard, and hopeful.

Coaching + Supervision with a Sanctuary Lens

Coaching & Supervision is a Sanctuary Tool that is designed to bring the awareness of the impact of trauma on the worker to the supervisory experience. From this session, attendees will learn the responsibility of both the supervisor and supervisee. In addition, attendees will dive deeper into the three roles of a Sanctuary supervisor.

Using Media as a Training Tool

Training is a tool that we use to spread knowledge and build skills. During this session, attendees will watch media clips and collectively discuss how the clip can be utilized to educate others on trauma and the concepts within the Sanctuary Model.
