This third edition of the Training Guide is meant to be utilized by experienced and novice trainers in organizations, schools and communities implementing the Sanctuary Model. Thus, it was designed and developed in a user-friendly format to be utilized much like a classroom curriculum. The guide is divided into a series of didactic presentations and activities that inspire the facilitators to fully engage participants in knowledge, values, and beliefs of the model. Training should also serve to support a paradigm shift for participants to a new perspective on trauma and its impact on the entire community of individuals served and those that seek to help them.
What’s new in this edition are: updated visuals and videos including facilitator points to remember (advice for a successful training experience, Facilitator Set-up Checklist, Logistics), resources for trainers including a Glossary of Terms, tips about Learning Styles and how people assimilate information, and training activities and resources (suggested materials on games and activities for trainers).

The Trainer’s Manual Bundle includes an electronic PowerPoint & 10 Trainer’s Manual Books. This manual PowerPoint presentation is accessible for a one-time only download to Sanctuary Network members.
