Position Summary
Performs advanced psychological work which involves administering and evaluating tests; conducting juvenile justice competency and psychological evaluations; conducting emergency risk assessment; providing testimony of evaluation results in court; diagnosing disorders; applying appropriate trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic interventions as indicated; developing and presenting professional trainings. Engages staff in training and education at all programming levels. Implements organizational and clinical trauma-informed concepts, principles and interventions at an adolescent residential facility. Clinical supervision of doctoral level trainees is a primary job responsibility, which includes assisting with maintenance of Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers (APPIC) and American Psychological Association (APA) program requirements. Work is performed under the general direction of an administrative/professional/clinical superior and is reviewed through conferences and reports.

Qualifications
Doctorate Degree in Psychology.
Necessary Special Requirement: Must be a State of Florida Licensed Psychologist at time of hire.
PREFERENCE FOR:
One (1) year of experience conducting forensic psychological evaluations to include court testimony; one (1) year of experience providing clinical supervision to doctoral trainees; Florida Forensic Examiner
Training for Juveniles; bilingual (Spanish/Creole)
