Call for Proposals
Call for Proposals
As a member of the Sanctuary Network of practice, we invite you to submit proposals for workshops for the Sanctuary Network Conference being held from May 5 – 7, 2021. These workshops should be relevant to the field of Trauma Informed Care and should highlight experiences, innovations, and practical strategies exemplifying the uses of the Sanctuary Model that would be interesting and applicable to organizations as they implement and sustain the Sanctuary Model.
This year’s theme for Network Days is Honoring the Past, Envisioning the Future. As such, we welcome proposals for workshops that will support this year’s theme and emphasizes the transformative nature of the Sanctuary Model.
As you plan and prepare your proposal, please keep in mind that the workshops are 60 minutes each, and presenters should include time within this window to allow for attendee questions.
Proposals will be evaluated by the Workshop Committee (a representative group of Sanctuary Network Members and Sanctuary faculty members). Evaluators will independently review each proposal and provide a total score based on:
- Relevance to the Sanctuary Model
- Experiential and engaging nature of workshop design and content
- Applicability and usefulness of information to others in the Network
An average of the evaluators’ scores will be assigned to the proposal and those with the highest scores will be selected for presentation after Committee consensus. It should be noted that each Sanctuary Network organization may submit up to three proposals. While an organization may have more than one proposal selected, the goal is to provide a diverse representative selection of workshops from across the Sanctuary Network.
To be considered you must submit all required information with your Proposal, including your bio (about 100 words), headshot (for each presenter) and your credentials.
