Wendy M. McSparren is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has 20+ years of experience working with children, adolescents and families in the mental health system. Seventeen of these years have been spent as a supervisor and administrator in various child serving systems including an academic medical center, a residential treatment facility, and an approved private school setting. Currently, she is self-employed in private practice where she provides individual, family and marital therapy for adolescent and adult clients who have experienced trauma as well as providing consultation and training for various contracted partners in the community with a specialization in organizational culture and developing healthy systems of care. She has been working as a faculty consultant with The Sanctuary Institute for the past three years. Ms. McSparren has a Master’s Degree in Social Work which she obtained from The University of Pittsburgh (1989) and she completed a second Master’s Degree of Science in Non-Profit Management from Robert Morris University (2007).
