
Brian Parchesky
Brian Parchesky, LMSW is currently a senior faculty member with the Sanctuary Institute at ANDRUS. He joined the Sanctuary Institute team in 2008. In his capacity there, he provides training and consultation to agencies that are adopting this trauma-informed model of treatment and organizational change.
He spent over 21 years employed at Glove House Inc. in Elmira New York. He entered their work force as a direct care worker 1989 and finished my career there in 2010 as Senior Vice President for agency. In his six years as Senior Vice President, he was involved in all aspects of operations, including finance, development and personnel, but with particular emphasis on service delivery, which included group homes, independent living, therapeutic foster boarding homes, prevention, reintegration and truancy services.
Brian has a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management from Lock Haven University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Buffalo.
